They are Boys!

We knew today 4/23/2009 would be her day as Goldie was showing all the typical signs, as the day progressed. Glenn managed to leave work for a bit just to check on her around 11am. I followed up on her progress around 2 pm and sure enough we were in the stage of "nesting" and contractions every 10 minutes or so. We were having kids very soon.

I stayed with her for the rest of the day, when her labor intensified and her water broke it only took a very short time for her to have these two buckling's One seems to be a solid black with white ears and the other a Red Dunn.

Since she was a Maiden; Goldie was not sure about them at first, her mothering urge to lick and clean them was strong but the sensation received when those little wet kids touched her udder was a bit more then she could understand at first.

I am looking forward to grabbing a few more photos this morning after they have had a chance to dry off and get there legs under them.

No names for them yet, for now the a B15 & B16.

More to come. This is only the beginning this year.
